How large is your venue?
The Loft DSM is an open, 5,000 square foot event space with an additional prep room for caterers and bathrooms.
What is included in the event rental?
A variety of amenities are included in the event rental:
What services do you provide?
An on-site custodian for the day of your event and room set-up/tear down.
How many hours does the rental fee include?
The rental fee is from 10am-12am on the day of your event.
How much is the deposit, when is it due, and is it refundable?
The deposit is 50% of the full price and is due at booking, the balance is due 90 days prior to the event. The deposit is not refundable.
What is the cancellation policy?

Do you have liability insurance? What is the amount it covers?
Liability insurance is required at your for your event at your expense.
Do you offer onsite coordination?
We offer an onsite custodian for the day of your event to oversee the building. An event coordinator will be an extra charge of $750 for the day (optional) at The Loft DSM only.
Is there parking?
Yes, there are several conveniently located parking spots available. There is also street parking and a parking lot across the street.
Is the venue handicapped accessible?
Yes
Are there any noise restrictions?
The music must be quiet after midnight.
Is there air conditioning and heat?
Yes, The Loft DSM has both air conditioning and heat.
Do you have a full catering kitchen?
There is a food prep room but no catering is provided. All food brought in must be cooked/prepared prior to its arrival inside The Loft DSM.
Are we required to use vendors you approve or from your provided list?
Stuart Alexander Productions and One Source Events are the onsite décor and rental item companies that coordinate with The Loft DSM. Any Licensed caterer can be used as well as any DJ or Band. Liquor and drinks is handled through Top it Off Liquid Catering.
Can I have a ceremony rehearsal at the venue?
Yes, it is subject to availability of the venue space at that time. You can book the space ahead of time to have it reserved at an additional cost.
How is alcohol priced and is there a bar minimum?
Alcohol is priced based on three different options: hosted/flat rate, by consumption, or cash bar and is managed by Top It Off liquid catering.
Are there any restrictions to the quantity of alcohol to be served?
It is the decision of the bartender to dis-continue serving alcohol based on the behavior of guests consuming alcohol.
What is your weather contingency plan for outdoor spaces?
The Loft DSM is an indoor space only, so no weather contingency plan is needed.
Do you provide a coat check service?
Yes, coat racks and hangers are provided and supervised by the onsite event manager.
Can we have a live band?
Yes, you can have a live band.
Where can guests smoke?
No smoking is allowed inside the venue, but guests can smoke outside.
Are animals allowed?
The Loft DSM is and always has been a pet friendly venue! We love animals and want them to be a special part of your day.
Décor
Do you have an inventory of décor we can rent from?
Stuart Alexander Productions and One Source Events provides a wide variety and selection of décor
Are we allowed to bring our own decorations?
You may provide your own homemade centerpieces on pre-approved selective dates. All décor is through Stuart Alexander Productions and One Source Events to ensure a seamless event production.
Can we move things around, or leave it as is?
All set-up will be done by the staff at The Loft DSM.
Can we use open flames?
Yes, all candles supplied by the floral studio at One Source Events. All Candles must be contained so wax runoff does not an issue.
What is not allowed?
we do not allow glitter, confetti cannons, fog machines or sparklers
